The Lion and the Lamb

In this sermon, Keith Miller walks through Revelation 5:6–10 and John’s vision of the Lion of Judah revealed as the slain Lamb. After heaven asks, “Who is worthy to open the scroll?”, John turns expecting to see a conquering Lion—but instead sees a Lamb standing as though it had been slain.

This passage shows us why Jesus alone is worthy. He is the promised King, the sacrificial Lamb, and the true Kinsman-Redeemer who restores what was lost through Adam’s sin. By His blood, He has ransomed a people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation. Those He redeems are not only forgiven, but made a kingdom and priests to God.
