The One on the Throne
In this sermon, Keith Miller walks through Revelation 4:1–6a and John’s breathtaking vision of heaven's throne room. Exiled on Patmos, surrounded by the power of Rome and the suffering of the churches, John is invited to see the greater reality behind all of history: Yahweh reigns.
This passage reminds us that God is sovereign, covenant-keeping, worship-worthy, and able to reorient His people in the middle of chaos. The throne is surrounded by mercy, marked by holiness, and filled with worship. Even the sea—often a symbol of chaos and opposition—is stilled before Him.
